คำว่า And ในภาษาอังกฤษ แปลว่า ผนวก. เป็นคำกริยาในภาษาอังกฤษ และเป็นกริยาปกติ (Regular Verb) เพราะแค่เติม -ed เมื่อเป็นอดีต.
